We are now offering starter colonies.

- 5 Frame Starter colonies include 2-3 frames of brood and 1-2 frames of comb with pollen/nectar/honey.
- A healthy laying queen and approximately 20-30 thousand worker bees.
- Feral colonies are wild rescues. We spend a considerable amount of time rehabilitating them. During this process they are vetted for overall colony health, quality queen laying pattern and calm temperament. The frames are foundation-less and will have natural comb. Note: We cannot be certain of the colony’s genetics, therefore it is always a possibility they will need to be re-queened in future.
- Fee to re-queen is $45. Re-queened colonies will be available mid-April.
